Lobuche East Peak Climbing Adventure leads you to exciting climb on one of the most technical trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya, a great challenge for beginners as well to tough mountaineers as practice before the main climb to other higher peaks.
Lobuche East Peak Climbing route located around high Khumbu valley and close to Mt. Everest and Pumori situated southwest as well near to Cho-la pass and beyond Lobuche settlement. The mountain with twin peaks East and West Lobuche, where Lobuche East peak is more accessible than other Lobuche West, where most of the climbing leads to a hidden corner away from main trails of Thugla and Dzongla to Lobuche and Everest Base Camp.
Lobuche East Peak Climbing Adventure starts with a smooth scenic flight to reach Lukla the starting and ending point of most of the adventure around high Khumbu areas, where our walk leads towards Dudh-Kosi River past nice Sherpa villages of Phakding and Monjo to enter Sagarmatha National Park. A walk leads to climbing to reach famous Namche Bazaar the hub of Khumbu Sherpa people and as well for trekkers with many shops and stores and nice lovely hotels, lodges to stay.
Spending time at Namche walk leads into serene woodland facing daily views of snow-capped peaks with Everest and magnificent Amadablam then reaching at scenic Thyangboche and its monastery surrounded by series of mountains and green tree lines. From Thyangboche onwards tree lines drop for an arid country with time to acclimatize on walks to Dingboche and then heading at Everest base camp with a climb of high Kalapathar hill to support with acclimatization and to gain experience on high altitude walks.
After an enjoyable time finally, the adventure leads to our main goal and destination at Lobuche East base camp for a classic climb to the summit of Lobuche East Peak at above 6,119m / 20,070 ft high, with much preparation and then getting ready for the big haul on top Lobuche East Peak main summit.
The climbing grade as TD ‘Technical Difficule’ to face the grading comes from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Systems, a technical effort required on most section encountering narrow ledge, ice, and rocky walls use of main ropes and harness to reach on top of the summit of Lobuche East rewards you with spectacular panorama of surrounding mountains. Trek Itinerary Detail:Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1,320 and transfer to hotel.
On arrival at Nepal international airport in Kathmandu received by White Lotus staff then drive to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu city, with time to get refreshed in your hotel rooms. Then join in for group meeting and briefing regarding Lobuche Peak Climb and trekking with early departure next morning to Lukla.Day 02: In Kathmandu option for tour and Lobuche Peak climb preparations
A day in Kathmandu where people can join in our half day tour around interesting places of Kathmandu, as the city steeped with World Heritage Sites. This free day in Kathmandu allows you to prepare for Lobuche Peak climb and to pack necessary gear required for the climb and trekking.Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and walk to Phakding 2,645 m - 04 hrs.
Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic for a scenic flight to land at Lukla town, where the walk takes you around Sherpa villages along with views of high peaks to reach at Phakding village for an overnight stop.Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.
The walk begins on the gradual winding path following Dudh Kosi River and crossing over bridges to enter Sagarmatha National Park (Sagarmatha a name for Everest in Nepali, where Sherpa of Tibetan origin calls Chomolungma,), from here into river valley within forest area. The climb starts from the last high bridge on winding and scenic trail to reach Namche Bazaar offers great nice lodge with many shops and stores including banks and ATM facilities along with views of peaks.Day 05: In Namche for rest and acclimatization with a short hike.
Enjoy rest or free day to help and support acclimatization on this high altitude above 3,440 m high, where one can take a short hike to viewpoints and museum of great interest, facing marvelous views of Everest, Amadablam, Kwangde, with Thermasarkhu and range of peaks.Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m - 05 hrs.
Walk higher up on scenic winding trail facing views of Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse with magnificent Amadablam, as walk leads down for lunch stop near Imjtase River. Afternoon few hours climb into the cool shade of rhododendron, pines, magnolia, blue pines, juniper and silver fir forest to reach a scenic and beautiful spot in Thyangboche surrounded by mighty peaks with views of Everest.
At Thyangboche for an overnight stop with time to visit its interesting monastery in the shade of Everest and Amadablam mountains.Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,365 m - 05 hrs.
Morning enjoy views of Everest and other peaks with magnificent Amadablam and then downhill walk to a river, crossing a bridge with a slow climb towards Pangboche village with close views of Amadablam peak, walk continues to reach a scenic Imjatse Valley where our overnight stops at Dingboche located with views of Amadablam and Island peaks.Day 08: Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and local hike.
Dingboche a lovely and scenic spot for rest day for acclimatization, take a short hike up to Nakarjung hill, for more excellent views of mountains facing Imjatse and Dingboche below, afternoon at leisure enjoy views of mountains.Day 09: Trek to Lobuche 4,890 m - 05 hrs.
From Dingboche climb above Dingboche and beyond Imjatse valley with scenic views, and then on gentle up as altitude catches slowly to reach Thugla for lunch stop. Afternoon leads to climb above a ridge of Thugla-La and then walk of an hour to reach at Lobuche for overnight with views of Nuptse and Lobuche peaks.Day 10: To Everest Base Camp 5,365 m back at Gorakshep 5,180 m - 06 hrs
From Lobuche to our highlight reaching Everest base camp, morning walk leads with slow climb above Khumbu glacier and moraine to reach a flat field at Gorakshep a place with few nice lodges. From Gorakshep continue to head east to reach at Everest base camp, on reaching our destination enjoy views of giant peaks with Khumbu Ice-Fall and glaciers, and then walk back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.Day 11: Climb Kalapathar at 5,545 m walk to Lobuche base 4,870 m - 05 hrs.
Early morning hike for few hours to reach on top Kalapathar at 5,545 m, the highest spot of trekking offers views of a mountain range with Everest and Pumori at close distance. From here descend to Gorakshep and walk downhill to Lobuche, walking above Thugla to reach at the isolated corner away from the main trail to set Lobuche Peak Climb base camp.Day 12: Climb to Lobuche High Camp 5,600m / 18,368 ft - 04 hrs.
Morning gentle climb to reach high / advance camp, the climb takes almost four hours to reach a flat available ground for overnight camp, after climbing past rocks and moraine to High Camp. Evening time to scout the regions with conclusive planning for the trip and also practice climbs on ice and rocks face at Lobuche High Camp.Day 13: Climb the summit 6,119m / 20,070 ft and to Base Camp - 08 hrs.
As the trip begins early morning towards Lobuche East Peak summit heading with steep climb facing some technical sections; where our guide will fix ropes around necessary places to make the ascent much accessible towards the summit of Lobuche East at above 6,119 m high.
At the top on reaching after a vigorous climb rewards you with breathtaking views of fascinating scenery of mountains and valleys, after a successful climb enjoying a panorama that surrounds you with close views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Mt. Amadablam with Mt. Makalu, Chamlang and Baruntse peaks towards southeast, after a great adventure and experience of a lifetime descend safely taking the same route back at base camp.Day 14: Reserve day in case of unfavorable weather condition

Enjoying grand thrill and experience of a lifetime adventure, where morning on clearing the camp at the base of Lobuche East Peak, walk past Thugla to reach at Pheriche for lunch stop. From Pheriche on an easy walk to reach at Pangboche on leaving beautiful Imjatse valley overnight at Pangboche village in the shade of Amadablam peak.Day 16: Trek to Namche Bazaar - 06 hrs.
With glorious time high above Khumbu valley morning starts to a long day walk past Thyangboche Monastery with downs and few strenuous up then on winding scenic trail to Namche for the overnight stop.Day 17: Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.
A long day walk of more than six hours to reach Lukla on last day trek, where the route leads through villages and past Monjo and Phakding to reach at Lukla town and in the comfort of nice lodge for a final overnight stop around Khumbu and Everest region.Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel end of the service.
Morning as per the time for a flight to Kathmandu transfer to Tenzing and Hillary airport in Lukla, where a sweeping smooth scenic flight of 30 minutes brings you back to city life in Kathmandu and get transferred to your hotel.Day 19: In Kathmandu spare and contingency days for individual activities.
