Mera Peak Climbing Adventure to reach the summit on one highest trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya at the height 6,461 m and 21,190 ft overlooking the breathtaking panorama of high surrounding mountains. Mera Peak Climbing Adventure where the grade listed as only ‘F’ which means "Facial Easy" utilized from celebrated and prominent French and Swiss Alpine Climbing System Classification, a straight-forward climb of a less technical problem but strenuous effort to reach its summit top after a tough struggle on snow-ice and rocky moraine.
We have made Mera Peak climb more accessible with flexible days adding extra high camp to make the adventure a great success, where every climber can enjoy the experience facing outmost scenery of surrounding beautiful landscapes and mountain views. Mera Peak Climbing leads you into hidden areas around Inkhu Valley away from mainstream trekking trails and beyond off the village and towns where you will be walking in a serene environment in the harmony of mountains and high green hills and valleys.
Walk leads from Lukla after a short flight from Kathmandu and then into pure wilderness crossing high ridges with scenic walks into green forested areas of rhododendron and pine trees. Finally, walk leads to our destination with time for practice climbing before a big haul to the summit of Mera Peak, after a great adventure on top facing super views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Baruntse, and Makalu as far to Kanchenjunga in the far-east.
After a grand climb head back to Lukla for a scenic short flight to Kathmandu with super memories and experience on Mera Peak Climbing Adventure with a team of White Lotus Adventure guides and staff.

Detail ItineraryDay 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1,320 and transfer to hotel.
On arrival at Nepal international airport in Kathmandu received by White Lotus staff then drive to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu city, with time to get refreshed in your hotel rooms. Then join in for group meeting and briefing regarding Mera Peak Climb and trekking with early departure next morning to Lukla.Day 02: In Kathmandu option for tour and Mera Peak climb preparations
A day in Kathmandu where people can join in our half day tour around interesting places of Kathmandu, as the city steeped with World Heritage Sites. This free day in Kathmandu allows you to prepare for Mera Peak climb and to pack necessary gear required for the climb and trekking.Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and walk to Chutanga 3,045 m - 04 hrs.
Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic for a scenic flight to land at Lukla town, where the walk takes you around Sherpa villages along with views of high peaks to reach at Chutanga for an overnight stop. The walk leads east from Lukla on less used trails by other trekkers, away from main walking path to reach our first overnight camping within beautiful location of green forested surrounding at Chutanga a small area in the middle of the woods.Day 04: Trek to Thuli-Kharka 4,300 m - 06 hrs.
After overnight at Chutanga, the adventure starts with a climb to cross over Kalo Himal Ridge also called Nau-Lekh a rocky mountain range separates Khumbu area fromInkhu Valley on route west of Makalu region. Trek leads over the first pass with a steep climb and then reaching a top ridge festooned with many Buddhist prayer flags at the height of 4,450 m, the pass called Zatrwa Og, and Zatrwa-La at 4,600 ms, facing views across Dudh Kosi river valley and of Karyolung and Lumding Himal. From here descend to Thuli-Kharka for an overnight camp in an isolated area within Inkhu valley.Day 05: Trek to Thangnak 4,356 m -06 hrs.
From Thuli-Kharka, morning walk downhill with views of Peak 43 and Kusum Kanguru peaks, then slowly reaching into a scenic valley within Inkhu area, overlooking Mera Peak South Face, as the walk enters rhododendron and pine forest, with a gradual walk through the serene forest to reach Mosum Kharka near Inkhu Drangka River.
After Mousum Kharka walks proceeds towards north on leaving timberland at that point achieving a wide open valley inside a field having Yak herder cabins to reach Gondishung near Thangnak region, a spot with little wooden cottages and safe houses of stone divider walled in areas. Gondishung with a little multi-year old little Gompa (cloister place of worship), from here walk proceeds for one more hour to our medium-term camp at Thangnak, a little yak herder's settlement with a couple of tea houses and little lodges.Day 06: Trek to Khare / Mera Peak Base Camp 5,045 m - 04 hrs.
From Thangnak, morning starts on a moderate path for few hours facing scenic views as route leads at the end of Inkhu valley, following across moraine leading to a dam of Charpatti Tal (lake), and then reach a high area lined with cairns overlooking the glacial lake.
Climb leads to short descend at Dig Kharka, from here walk for an hour across the boulder-strewn hillside, to reach overnight camp in Khare and Mera Peak Base Camp.Day 07: At Khare for acclimatization with Pre-Climbing Training.
Rest day at Khare also a base camp for Mera Peak climb, where one can practice climb on rocks and ice near the campsite, and get familiar with your personal gear use of crampons-ice axe and learn to make fix ropes, where our guide will provide you with other necessary information regarding the climb.Day 08: Climb to Mera High Camp 5,780 m - 04 hrs.
After a rest day at Khare at Mera base camp, walk leads further up to set High Camp to make the climb more approachable, after leaving Mera base camp, trek leads across Mera La to reach at Mera High Camp, after few hours of hard walking reaching Mera High Camp, for overnight camp.
Afternoon our expert guides will scout the area of the route of a climb and will fix ropes where vital, rest of the day planning for Mera Peak climb, this high camp offers outstanding views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang and Baruntse peaks.Day 09: Climb to the top of Mera Peak 6,461 m/ 21,190 ft and to Khare - 08 hrs.
Morning leads to climbing over Mera Glacier, leading straight on an ice section, as the route leads to a hard climb without any technical difficulty then reaching on top Mera peak summit rewards you with a panorama of mountains that surrounds you, facing view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho- Oyu as far towards Mt. Kanchenjunga in the eastern horizon, after a vigorous and long climb descend with care to base camp at Khare.Day 10: Trek to Kothe 3,600 m - 06 hrs.
From Khare and Mera Peak base camp return journey will be pleasant without the problem of altitude gain, although walks lead to few ups and downs and back into green vegetations and tree lines at Kothe within a small cattle herders shelters.Day 11: Trek to Thuli-Kharka - 06 hrs.
Morning walk continues leading into dense woodland with a steep climb on some small hills and continue to walk along a grassy meadow with a gradual walk to reach our last camp of the experience at Thuli - Kharka.Day 12: Trek to Chutanga via Zatrwa La pass 4,610 m - 06 hrs.
Today, last day within Inkhu valley where morning a long day walk with a climb over the high ridge of Naulekh or Kalo Himal and Zatrwa Og including Zatrwa-La, after strenuous climb then descend towards Chutanga within greenery and thick forest and then ending our walk with last overnight camp before Lukla.Day 13: Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.
A short walk of few hours to reach Lukla on the last day trek, where walk leads through nice lovely pines and rhododendron forest to reach at Lukla town and in the comfort of the nice lodge, afternoon free to explore around interesting streets of Lukla town market areas.Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel end of the service.
Morning as per time for the flight to Kathmandu transfer to Tenzing and Hillary airport in Lukla, where a sweeping smooth scenic flight of 30 minutes brings you back to city life in Kathmandu and get transferred to your hotel.Day 15: In Kathmandu spare and contingency days for individual activities.
Reserved this spare day as a contingency in case of flight delay and cancellation in Lukla or vice-versa, if all goes well according to our standard itinerary days enjoy a free day for individual activities.Day 16: International departure homeward bound.
As per your international flight time for homeward bound or to next respective destinations, depart from the hotel where White Lotus staff transfer you to Kathmandu International airport with final farewell after a great adventure and experience on Mera Peak Climbing Adventure and trekking.
