Then passes through such amazing Buddhist villages. Which are Haku, Gatlang, Goljung, Chilime, Pachung, Thuman, Timure. Finally, it ends at Briddim.
The Tibetan and Tamang people here follow Tibetan Buddhism. During the month of May and December, Mane festival is observed here. Community members take a turn to organize the festival. This showcases Buddhist philosophies of Milarepa, Horse races. Cultural dance competitions are also included. The festival goes over seven days long. Young girls and boys across villages come here. Then they engage education about lifestyles.
Lhosar is Buddhist festival, important above any other. It is significantly observed by villagers to welcome new year.
You can also visit 108 monasteries in Gatlang. Different meditation places can also be explored. Such as Padmasambhava in Haku, 20 Chortens in Chilime and Goljunng. In addition, Mani walls and Gompas are also there. Shamanism based on Bon religion predates Buddhi. It is also another attraction of this tour.
