About TripThere are plenty of trekking options in Langtang. You can start Langtang Trek from Dhunche or Syabru which is a more direct route and passes through Langtang Village and Kyanjin Gompa (3800m). Other option would be start the trek from Sundarijal or Melamchi Pul, which is a long and circuitous trail that takes up up to Kyanjin Gompa. The Gosainkunda trek is the one more adventurous among them all. The trek visits sacred Gosaikunda Lake (4301m) by crossing over Lauri Binayak pass located at an altitude of 4610m. During the month of August, Gosankunda is visited by thousands of Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims to pay homage to Guru Rimponche and Lord Shiva. Gosaikunda trek offers superb views of Langtang Himalayan ranges with up-close views of Langtang Lirung (7245m, Langtang Ri (7205) and Dorje Lakpa (6966m). You can also visit beautiful monasteries and gompas that are part and parcel of local peoples lives. Since the Langtang trail is part of of Langtang National park, trekkers will also have a rare opportunity to enjoy wildlife activities. During autumn and spring different varieties of rhododendron flowers come to bloom in its thousands. The forests made of pine, oak and rhododendron trees provides a safe habitat for such wild creatures as snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, rhesus monkeys.
Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sight seeing
After breakfast go on a sightsheeing tour of Kathmandu and Patan. Visit famous Buddhist and Hindu temple Baudanath, Swoyambhunath, Pasupatinath, Patan and Kathmandu Darbar Square.
Day 3 : Kathmandu to Dhunche (1900m)5/6 hour
Early morning drive to Dhunche which takes about 5-6 hours. Stay in lodge. Dhunche is headquarters of Rasuwa District and Langtang Natinal Park check point is situated here. Overnight stay at lodge
Day 4 : Dunche to Singgumpa (3200m) 05 /6 hours
Trek along Trisuli khola (river) before climbing up to Singgumba, which is a very old Buddhist monastery. You can get good views Ganesh himal and Langtang peaks. Overnight stay at lodge
Day 5: Singumba to Laura binayak( 3800 m )4/5 hours
After breakfast gradually hike through the Jungle up to Cholangpati, with view of langtang himal. The jungle is inhabited by red panda and Himalayan Monkey. It is another 2 hr trek to reach Cholangpati which gives good views of Langtang ,Ganesh View and surrounding mountains. Overnight stay at lodge
Day 6 : Laura Binayak to Gosainkund (4210)4/5 hour .
Approximately 2hour step up to Chorten, then 1 hour gradually climb up until Gosainkunda Lake. During full moon in August, Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims, as well as local Tamang shamans, visit the shrine in large numbers to offer their prayers. In the region there are 108 lakes including all big and small lakes. Overnight stay at lodge
Day 7 : Back to Mangchet (2500m) 6 /7 hour
Same way back to till cholangpati then follow the right trail and step down to Mangchet. The jungle is popular for red pand exploration. Overnight stay at lodge
Day 8 : Mangchet to Thulo syafru vai Syafrubensi 1380m 5/6 hour
An hour descent down through crops and vegetable filed. Get scenic mountain views from Thulosyafru. Thulo syafru is a village inhabited by indigenous Tamang and surrounded by green terraced fields.
Day 9: Thulo syafru to Lama Hotel 2510m (5/6 hour)
After breakfast trek begin walk decent down to pahiro (Hot spring) then following the Langtang main trek. Trek through jungle gradually ascend until Rimoche vai Lama Hotel. Place at Lame hotel to get main trek to langtang from Tamang Heritage trail and you might feel wilderness and might get opportunity to see wild animals like monkeys, red Pandas, Himalayan Black Bears etc.Over night at lodge.
Day 10: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3500m) 5/6 hours
After Break fast trek star walk through the jungle to follows the delightful Langtang river to Ghoda Tabela another 20 minute walk for luch at Thansyap. After lunch trail gradually up to Gumba and descends down to suspension bridge finally reaching Langtang village. Langtang village is most affected by massive earth quake of 2015 but till people are living people in repaired houses. Overnight in Mundu.
Day 12: Rest Day (Kyanjin Gumba Hike day Chirkure 5000m for Himalaya views)
This morning is perfect for Himalayan View. A three hour hike up to chhirkure (5200m) provides beautiful views of Langtang Glacier, Yala glacier, Ganjala, Nayagang, Kyanjin Valley and so on. Afterwards return to hotel and take lunch at hotel.
Day 13 : Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel
Follow the same route back to rimoche/ lama hotel.

Same way back to Syafrubensi
Day 15 : Syafrubensi to Kathmandu

- Cross Laurebina La pass
- Enjoy breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri etc
