From Helambu walk towards Rasuwa district to reach at Gosainkund via high Thadepati facing glorious views of the snow-capped peak and dramatic landscapes, then into a high country filled with a beautiful forest of rhododendron-pines-oaks and fir tree lines, then soon fades to arid and barren country crossing over high East Laurabinaya / Gosainkund-la pass at above 4,609 m /15,100ft.
From the pass easy descend to beautiful serene and holy Gosainkund lake, enjoying time here descend to Dhunche town headquarter of Rasuwa district within Langtang Himal, where drive brings you back at Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary:Day 01: Drive to Kakani 1,540 m - 06 hrs.
Beginning lovely week-long trek taking an interesting drive from Kathmandu to reach around Helambu area where ride leads past scenic Dhulikhel town, and then on low warm areas of Melamche Bazaar as drive leads towards the cooler area on mid hills to reach Kakani farm village for an overnight stop.Day 02: Trek to Sermathang 2,610 m - 05 hrs.
The day starts with fresh morning walks around cooler alpine hills into nice serene woodland of tall rhododendron, pines, and magnolia with fir tree lines. On the trail encountering chhorten (Buddhist prayer monuments), summer meadows to reach at Shermathang for an overnight stop, a lovely Hyalmo village here with time to visit its old interesting monastery and observe the local colorful culture of the native known as Hyalmo.Day 03: Trek to Tarke Gyang 2,590 m - 04 hrs.
From Sermathang a short day walks to reach the main central village of Helambu at Tarke- Gyang as walk leads past Gangyul a small village, then following the path with wonderful views of rolling hills to reach Tarke Gyang. Tarke-Gyang, famous for impressive Buddhist custom and heritage life the people are skilled in wood carving on furniture’s and the place well known for delicious green apples also. Afternoon free to explore this lovely village and the old monastery of Ama Yangri situated on top of the village.Day 04 Trek to Malemchigaon 2,560 m - 05 hrs
After a wonderful time at Tarke Gyang following downhill route to Melamchi River and around small farm village, crossing the river on a suspension bridge, then climb to a wide summer grazing pasture to reach Malemchigaon, another nice village of Helambu area. A typical mountain village of Buddhist culture where Hyalmo and Helambu villages ends, houses windows, entryways and furniture brightened with lovely carvings, in the wake of getting sort out in the hotel, investigate this decent town of Hyalmo individuals like Sherpa and Tamang religion and culture, this clan is close wiped out just a couple of thousand exists in Nepal, India-Darjeeling and Sikkim.Day 05: Trek to Ghopte Odar 3,566m via Thadepatti ridge and pass 3,597 m - 06 hrs.

After a refreshing break continues to walk downhill to reach on the road to Gosainkund area where the route leads on winding path with few short ups and down to reach the remote and isolated place at Ghopte Odar for an overnight stop, a place with few caves which makes a nice shelter for pilgrims to holy Gosainkund.Day 06: To Gosainkund crosses East Laurabina-La / Gosainkund pass 4,609 m /15,100ft.
Today will be the longest walks of the adventure where walk leads on winding ups and down through juniper, rhododendron, birch, and pine forest soon tree lines disappears on reaching the base of East Laurabina-La / Gosainkund pass. From the bottom, a long climb to reach on top East Laurabina-La / Gosainkund pass facing Marvelous scenery of rolling hills and snow-capped peaks, after enjoying the beautiful scenery descend towards the holy lake of Gosainkund past small ponds of Surya Kund to reach our final destination at Gosainkund for an overnight stop.
During the auspicious time on the full moon where Hindu festival takes place called Jani Purnima as per Nepali Luna calendar, pilgrims visit in mass number to Gosainkund pond for ritual bathe and a dip where belief is that its holy water relinquishes sins of a hundred lifetimes) here Hindu pilgrims leaves their walking poles so the name got as Laurabinaya.Day 07: Trek to Sing Gompa at 3,254 m - 05 hrs.
Enjoying pleasant time at holy Gosainkund walk leads to short descend past Saraswati and Bhiaravkund, and the climb to high Lauribinaya hill with fabulous views of Langtang, Ganesh, and Manaslu Himalaya range and then long descend to reach at Sing Gompa for an overnight stop with time to visit its monastery and small cheese processing factory nearby.Day 09: Trek to Dhunche 1,950 m - 05 hrs.
Morning leads to long downhill into the cool shade of woodland and past few cattle herders huts and shades to reach at the bottom of a hill near a small bridge with few shops and local tea-houses. From here on easy trail reaching at the motorable road with a short winding climb to reach the hotel or lodge in Dhunche town, for last overnight stop around Langtang Himal within Rasuwa district in the land of Tamang people.Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel - 05 hrs.
Morning from Dhunche town exciting overland journey takes you back to Kathmandu on route observe Nepalese country life as drive leads past farm villages and towns to reach at Kathmandu around evening time, rest of the day free for individual exercises and shopping trinkets.
