Begins from scenic and beautiful Pokhara with short drive to trekking point where walk leads to a climb up to mid-hills villages of Tirkhedhunga, Ulleri and Bhantati villages, as walk progress entering into lovely cool forested areas filled with tall rhododendron-magnolia and pines trees to reach at Ghorepani around Poon/Magar village.
At Ghorepani with grand views of Dhaulagiri located within rhododendron woodland where a short hike leads you up at Poon Hill for amazing sunrise views over a chain of Himalayan peaks from Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri’s, Annapurna to Manaslu range. From here a short walk on main trails then leaving the popular Annapurna route to reach our isolated and remote destination at Kopra Hill along a ridge-line of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains, where hike leads you much higher at holy Lake of Khair.
After an exciting adventure and scenic walks heading back into forest and at main trekking trails to reach large Gurung village in Ghandruk, where downhill walk takes into warmer farm fields and villages for interesting short drive to picturesque Pokhara to conclude this magnificent adventure on Kopra Hill and Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Trekking.

Trek Itinerary Detail:
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu via various airlines and transfer to hotel.
On reaching at Kathmandu international airport received by White Lotus staff / guide for short transfer in the heart of Kathmandu at Thamel area an interesting place after checking into your hotel room, meet at hotel lobby for group briefing regarding Annapurna Poon Hill Trekking with other information to make your stay in Nepal enjoyable. Evening includes welcome dinner in authentic Nepalese restaurants with culture programs of the country.
Day 02: In Kathmandu options for sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Free day in Kathmandu for leisure activities where you can join in our sightseeing tour around the city places of Interest as Kathmandu valley steeped with world heritage sites, rest of the day preparation for Annapurna Poon Hill trekking
Day 03: Drive or Fly to Pokhara 860 m (30 mins by air) with 6 hrs overland.
Morning overland journey to Pokhara of about 5- 6 hrs drive to reach Nepal Mid- West where ride leads past interesting farm villages and towns with views of snow capped mountains till you reach at Pokhara.
On arrival transfer to your hotel by the lake side of Phewa, with time for short walk around the lake side with views of Annapurna peaks. Dinner either in respective hotels or outside restaurants near the lake side (Flight options 30 minutes to reach Pokhara by air from Kathmandu)
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul start walk to Tirkhedhunga 1,460 m- 05 hrs.
Morning breakfast and then drive to reach the starting point of the trek beyond Pokhara valley where walk begins after few hours of scenic drive, walk leads past nice villages of Bhirethati, and the slow climb to reach at Tirkhedhunga a Gurung village with waterfalls close to overnight stop in local lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,880 m-06 hrs.
Morning breakfast start walks by 7 a.m. or 7: 30 a.m. with climb on stone paved steps all the way to Ulleri village after a steep climb, from Ulleri on gradual up into nice cool shade of rhododendron and pine forest to reach at Ghorepani village A village populated by Poon / Magar people the hill tribe of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri region, here enjoy views of Dhaulagiri Mountain from the lodge at Ghorepani village
Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill 3,210 and trek to Sauta 2,210 m - 05 hrs.
Early morning hike leads up to Poon Hill for few hours to catch sunrise over panorama of mountains, where view includes massive range of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna and as far to Ganesh Himal including Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail”.
Return to Ghorepani for breakfast and walk to downhill to Chitre village and then leaving main walking trails to remote isolated village at Sauta for overnight stop with grand views of Dhaulagiri Himalaya.
Day 07: Trek to Chistibung 3,160 m -05 hrs.
Starting morning walk through farm fields and scattered villages and into rhododendron and bamboo forest, with climb following the trails to Khair ridge, with an uphill through meadow and summer pastures to Chistibung for overnight stop, a, a small place of few huts serving as tea-houses.
Day 08: Trek to Kopra Ridge 3,870 m -04 hrs.
Morning walk for few hours leading to our destination at Kopra ridge, from here altitude gains on leaving tall tree lines for short alpine bushes and shrubs, around this place chances of seeing some wildlife like Himalayan Thar, Danphe Pheasant (National Bird of Nepal). 3-4 hours trip contacts you at medium-term stop at Kopra edge, a picturesque spot with astonishing perspectives on encompassing scenes and Mt. Dhaulagiri monstrous range, Vara- Shikar (Annapurna Fang), Annapurna South which towers from this brilliant spot.
Day 09: At Kopra Ridge for optional excursion to holy Khair lake.
A great spot for rest day and options for hike to holy Khair Lake located at 4,245m, a long day hike worth the views, a holy site with religious festival held annually around the month of August and September. Residents from encompassing zone visit on journey to offer petitions and plunge in the icy pond / Lake of Khair.
Day 10: Trek to Dobato 3,420 m - 05 hrs.
After a lovely time at Kopra ridge and visit of holy Khair Lake, morning walk leads to long descend past pasture lands and back into rhododendron forest to reach medium-term stop at Dobato, a late spring field an eating land for the nearby Sheppard’s with striking views of Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchare.
Day 11: Trek to Ghandruk Village 1,940 m -04 hrs.
Today walk downhill to Ghandruk village into deep forest, facing views of snow capped mountains; a lovely walk prompts Ghandruk town for medium-term stop in the wake of strolling past Tadapani village and back on main trekking trail. Ghandruk, largest Gurung villages around Annapurna region, the men folk of Ghandruk village have long convention of providing the absolute best officers in the Gorkha Regiment to both British and Indian armies.
Day 12: Trek to road head and drive to Pokhara-05 hrs.
Last day treks after breakfast downhill towards lower warm farm areas After few hours of nice walks reach at the bottom of a hill around Syali bazaar from here walk further and drive to Pokhara past Bhirethati and Nayapul villages and town. On reaching Pokhara transfer to your respective hotels by the lake Phewa with enough time for rest and walks around the lake side.
Day 13: Drive / Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Morning after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu on the same interesting highway past farm villages and town with last few hour climb to reach the valley rim that takes you into the city of Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. (Flight options 30 minutes to reach Kathmandu from Pokhara by air)
Day 14: International Departure homeward bound or respective countries.
As per your international flight time for homeward bound or to next respective destinations, depart from the hotel where White Lotus staff transfer you to Kathmandu International airport with final farewell after a great adventure and experience on Kopra Hill and Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Trekking.
